If You Have High Blood Pressure Eat Beetroot

If your numbers are a bit high, then beetroot might be your new best friend. It contains nitrate, which is converted into nitric acid when we eat it. This makes the muscular walls of the blood vessels relax and reduce blood pressure. Have it juiced, grated raw in a salad or roasted in chunks. Healthy eating doesn’t need to be boring!
